Which of us would not wish to dwell in the bosom of nature?
The
vast all-embracing spaces and fierce winds of the prairie
hearken
to the primordial. Here in the prairie, where nature has
the upper
hand, we contemplate the origins of creation. This grouping
depicts a wind blown prairie, where brilliant colors suggest
the
majesty of creation, as does the dramatic sky. Expressed
here is an
appreciation of the short-grass prairie ecosystem and hopefully
these artworks will inspire us to preserve our natural legacy
before the prairie lands of Eastern Colorado disappear.
